About US
Shute-Hill Country Retreat is a family run cabin service that provides secluded and independent accommodation alongside the Hastings River. Located in Ellenborough, we are a short 40 minute drive west of the well-known, mid-north coast town of Port Macquarie, NSW.
ACCOMmODATION
We have two cabins available for booking throughout the entire year. Both cabins offer a country living experience and include a variety of living necessities, such as:
- A master bedroom with a queen bed
- A second bedroom with a double bed and bunk-bed arrangement
- A bathroom with toilet, shower-and-bath, and laundry facilities
- A kitchen with a stove-top oven, microwave and refrigerator
- A living space with two fold-out lounges and a television
- An outdoor patio with an accessible BBQ

On-Site Attractions
Our main attraction is the Hastings River which is a minutes walk from the cabins. It provides the opportunity for swimming and canoeing. In addition to the Hastings River, Shute-Hill Country Retreat sits on over 600 acres offering scenic trails, perfect for nice bush walks or orienteering.
